The Masterplan was prepared in a staged way. We have just completed Stage 3 – the production of a final masterplan. This followed a formal 8 week consultation on a draft masterplan Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) which ran from 27 November 2017 to 22 January 2018.
A summary of the representations received during the consultation and how they have been considered in drafting the final adoption version of the masterplan is set out in the Statement of Community Involvement below.
The masterplan will be adopted by Tandridge District Council as a SPD. Once adopted, the SPD will be able to help steer future development in a co-ordinated and planned way over the next 10 years. It will become part of the Local Development Plan (LDP) and used to help determine planning applications.
The Masterplan stages were:
Understanding the Now: Parking surveys and Transport Statement, Property Market Assessment, Planning Policy Review, Stakeholder Consultation, Townscape Analysis and Socio-Economic Review.
A number of baseline reports were produced and can be viewed here.
